I am a third-year undergraduate at the University of Texas. Through great timing and luck, I was able to go to Australia and help Beckie Symula in the field by collecting toe clippings of Crinia signifera. Afterwards, not only did I become a master frog catcher, I was able to present a poster on phylogeographic relationships between populations of C. signifera. Currently, I am still working with Beckie on sequencing the remaining samples of C. signifera.
