I am interested in evolutionary biology of amphibians and reptiles. I am interested in questions at all levels of divergence from splits among relatively old groups to variation within and among populations. My research has focused primarily on molecular phylogenetics and population genetics of plethodontid salamanders. Currently, I am exploring the utility of various genes for deep divergences among families of frogs.
