In 2006 Chris took a position at USGS Forest and Rangeland Ecosystem Science Center in Corvallis, Oregon. After a year as an Asst. Prof. at William and Mary University, since fall 2008 he is an Asst. Professor at Colorado State University.
I am a postdoc working on Physalaemus petersi with David Cannatella and Mike Ryan. I have three broad, interrelated research interests: (1) geographic patterns of genetic variation, phenotypic variation (including morphological, life history, and behavioral variation), and species diversity; (2) the evolutionary and ecological processes that generate these patterns; and (3) the conservation of threatened populations. I address research questions using a variety of approaches, especially molecular genetics, capture-recapture analysis, population modeling, and natural history.
